Erica Rabins is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working in private practice in both West LA and Encino locations. Her expertise includes working with individuals experiencing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Teen Issues, Parent-Child Relational Issues and Self-Growth.

She received her undergraduate degree at UCLA and her Masters at Antioch University Los Angeles. She has done training at UCLA’s Intensive Treatment Program for OCD. Past internships include The Early Child Parenting Center, Philips Counseling Center, Helen Reid Parenting Center at Providence Hospital, Counseling Partners of Los Angeles and Valley Detox Center.

Erica works according to what is best suited for individual client’s needs.

Her approach to therapeutic work is largely Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She also believes in helping the client understand the connection between their mind-body by using mindfulness and meditation tools. She values being very supportive and empathetic towards her clients.

Erica loves to help pre-teens and teens to help build confidence, self-esteem and feel supported as they navigate the complexities that may occur in life. Through her work, they can learn to better understand their emotions as she provides a safe outlet to express themselves.
